INDIA or export piece for England, 20th century Blackened wooden armchair entirely engraved with foliage motifs, featuring a straight backrest, armrests with chiseled brass lion heads, and resting on four legs—the front ones turned—joined by an H-shaped crossbar. Both sides of the backrest panel and the outer surfaces of the armrests are decorated with miniatures depicting figures. Brass glides. H.: 90 cm - Seat: 50 x 44.8 cm. Signs of wear, scratches, a few chips, previous damage and restorations, metal brackets.
