ITALY Silver (800) multi-lobed cartridge-shaped powder compact with a hinged lid, decorated with an enameled scene of women in a circle, set within a turquoise-effect enamel border. The reverse is engraved with a zigzag pattern, and the base is chased with floral scrollwork. Gilded interior, with sifter. Gross weight (without sifter): 114 g. - 11 x 16 x 71 mm. Rehallmarked with a swan. Mirror missing. A few scratches. INCLUDED: - a small rectangular silver snuffbox (925 / min. 800), with a hinged lid decorated with a horseman holding a second, rearing horse in front of a tree, within a floral frame. The profile is decorated with grooved bands. Gilded interior. Foreign hallmarks; re-hallmarked in England. Re-hallmarked with the swan. Net weight: 67 g. - 30 x 70 x 42 mm. - A cylindrical silver plated metal box, hinged, adorned on each side with an embossed composition depicting *The Night Watch* based on Rembrandt’s painting. Gilded interior. 30 x 73 cm. = Signs of wear and a few scratches.
