Alafolo-type club Wood with a dark brown patina, showing signs of use and age. Malaita Island, Solomon Islands, Melanesia This club features a long, flattened striking surface that is slightly flared, extending into a short handle defined by a step. The carved pommel depicts a highly stylized face, whose relief carvings and incisions contrast with the simplicity of the body.
