"Louis Vuitton" Shopping Bag MNG with Monogram canvas, red fur trim, and gold-colored studs, 2015 Exceptional Louis Vuitton bag; according to the enclosed receipt, model M41234 “Shopping Bag MNG,” purchased at the Louis Vuitton store in Munich on September 23, 2015, for the original purchase price of €3,500. Body in classic Monogram canvas with a semicircular top edge, two fixed handles, and red piping all around. The lower front section is densely studded with gold-colored, conical rivets; the back features a large red fur/haircalf trim. Side panels made of light, natural-colored leather with a decorative bow appliqué. The interior features a light-colored leather lining with a red center zippered compartment, a gold-colored zipper, and an embossed leather label reading “Louis Vuitton Paris, made in France.” The base is made of Monogram Canvas with four gold-colored feet. The bag is mostly in good condition. The handles have a sticky surface. The lacquer coating on them is peeling off in places. It cannot be definitively determined whether this is the original coating or a later treatment. Exposure to heat or sunlight is a possible cause.
