"S.T. Dupont" Paris “Ligne 1” - Gas lighter, gold-plated with blue Chinese lacquer Initials HJB on the side. Elegant gas lighter by S.T. Dupont, Paris, France, likely from the Ligne 1 series, second half of the 20th century. Rectangular metal body with a gold-plated, finely grooved surface and dark blue “Laque de Chine” inlays. Fluted ignition wheel on the side and a hinged lid. Marked on the bottom with “S.T. Dupont Paris,” “Made in France,” and “Laque de Chine,” plus serial number R9EV32 and the manufacturer’s mark. Shows signs of age and wear; the gold plating is worn in places, particularly along the edges and around the ignition mechanism. Interior shows signs of oxidation and wear. Functionality not tested. 5.7 x 3.4 cm
