Large porcelain ceremonial vase with floral painting, mascarone handles, and rich gold decoration Magnificent, elaborately designed porcelain vase in a Neoclassical krater shape with a delicate light blue background, polychrome floral painting, and rich gold decoration. On the front, a large oval medallion featuring a finely rendered bouquet of roses and other colorful blooms, surrounded by delicate golden ornaments and floral garlands. Decorative scattered flower painting runs all around the vase. On the sides, two elaborately modeled handles with sculpted female mascarons and embossed decorative elements. The lower body of the vase features sculpted acanthus leaf decoration and gilding. A contoured, richly decorated round base. The wide, flaring rim features all-around relief decoration and a gold-accented edge. On the underside is a blue manufacturer’s mark in the form of crossed swords; the manufacturer has not yet been definitively identified. Good condition, no damage. Height: 38.5 cm\ Diameter: 24 cm
