Rare "Royal Copenhagen" "Bough Pot" Flower Vase, 19th century. Rare porcelain flower vase (Bough Pot) by "Royal Copenhagen" in a Neoclassical style. The oval, bulbous body, set on a profiled base, is decorated on both sides with finely polychrome-painted bouquets of flowers and richly adorned with gilded ornamental and leaf friezes. On both narrow sides are sculpted female figures in light green robes, each holding a sculpted wreath of flowers; unfortunately, these wreaths show some chipping. On the underside is the characteristic underglaze mark of Royal Copenhagen featuring three blue wavy lines, alongside a gold-colored designation or number “1926” and an additional painter’s mark. Height 18.0 cm, length 22.5 cm
