GUY LAROCHE Cocktail dress inspired by French Haute Couture 1960s — in cream organza, entirely embroidered with white, coral, and pink beads and sequins forming zigzag patterns. Floral motifs are crafted from pink and orange plastic and rhinestones. Round neckline, side zipper closure, and hook-and-eye closures on the shoulder. The hem features orange crêpe trim. Made by Atelier Badolato in Turin based on an original Guy Laroche design. Atelier Badolato regularly purchased official patterns or original garments directly from the major Parisian fashion houses and reproduced them under authorized license. These were not mere “copies” but complex reproductions typical of French haute couture. Bears a Badolato label; the Maison Guy Laroche label is missing. Minor flaws with signs of age. Size missing. Probable size 40
