399 - Bronze Buddha Shakyamuni in the Earth-Touching Gesture. Thailand, probably Ayutthaya period, 17th–18th centuries. Height approx. 15 cm, width approx. 12.5 cm. Bronze. Hollow casting using the lost-wax method; remnants of the casting core are preserved. Dark brown, partially greenish patina. Fragment of a seated Buddha figure.
