275 - Ptah-Osiris. Late Period, 1st millennium B.C. Figure 39 cm, 44 cm with base. Wood. Mummy-shaped figure with a three-part wig. There is a hole in the head where the separately crafted feather crown was inserted. It is connected to the rectangular base via a wooden peg; the base shows traces of reddish-brown paint on one side. The feather crown is missing; the paint has been lost; there are minimal areas of damage. Provenance: Formerly in the collection of F.S., Bavaria; in a private collection since before 1983.
