Gerhild Diesner (Innsbruck 1915 – Innsbruck 1995) Rose on a Green Background; oil on painting board, 39 x 38 cm, framed Signed Attended the Chelsea Art School and the School of Art in Brighton; 1937–39: studied at the Academy in Munich. In Paris, she drew decisive inspiration from French Modernism. She is considered one of the leading representatives of Classical Modernism in Tyrol.
