[Mayenne] Collection of manuscripts on Aron (Mayenne): Description of the parish of Aron, Forges d'Aron, Chronicle since 1700, Le bois au parc, Description of the parish of Aron, etc. Anonymous, undated manuscript collection (late 19th/early 20th century) in loose sheets and in good condition. The collection has not been collated and is sold as is. Included: A complete file titled “Requisitioned Schools/Inventories: compiled in 1914–1915”: Inventory of Mayenne: St. Martin District / Independent Girls’ School, Independent Boys’ School, Independent Youth Center, Sainte-Anne Orphanage, Notre-Dame Boarding School, Girls’ School on Henri Gandais Street. A small in-folio manuscript collection: a description of the premises accompanied by typewritten military documents, including the requisition order dated August 21, 1914, signed by the commander of the Mayenne garrison, and the lease executed with the Department of War. A fine collection. Also included are several notarial deeds from the 12th and 18th centuries concerning Aron, Mayenne. A good collection for research.
