First case: 28 Frimaire, Year 4 (December 19, 1795); second case: 5 Prairial, Year 4 (May 24, 1796); arrest, interrogations, and trial. A fine collection in generally excellent condition. Charges included “recruiting residents from various rural areas to serve with the Chouans (…)”, forgery, extortion of property, etc.
