[Drawings] A collection of 25 unsigned small landscape drawings (pen and pencil); some are captioned and dated from 1849 to 1855. The collection includes views of castles (notably a view of the ruins of the Château de Compiègne before the restoration campaign led by Viollet-le-Duc) and other scenes such as “the Zouave Ravine at Inkerman.” A lovely collection; dimensions: 6 x 12 cm, 13 x 17 cm, 9 x 6.5 cm, etc. Included is a box containing early 20th-century photographs (portraits, group photos). Good condition.
