Prayer Rug Persia, 20th century. Wool and silk. Dimensions approx. 213 x 139 cm. Dark blue mihrab field with dense floral scrollwork, stylized blossoms, and a central vase motif. A multi-sectioned prayer arch featuring geometric and floral ornaments. Light-colored main border with curving tendrils and floral motifs, flanked by narrow secondary borders. Color scheme in dark blue, beige, brown, ochre, and subtle shades of red and turquoise, using plant-based dyes. Signs of age and wear; fringes are partly irregular.
