Classical-Style Marble Fireplace White marble. Brass. 106 x 140 x 100 cm. The fireplace is crafted from white to light gray marble with a subtle, natural grain. The firebox opening is framed by a simple brass frame. The fireplace is currently installed and would need to be removed. Straight, clean lintel (fireplace beam) with a profiled edge. In the center of the lintel is a rectangular mirror cartouche featuring a central floral relief (rosette/flower). The side corner panels above the supports also feature sculpted floral ornaments. On both sides are fluted pilasters (vertical grooves) reminiscent of ancient columns. The lower sections are slightly rounded. A round, dark metal element is visible on the side (presumably a stove or ventilation rosette). The fireplace appears harmoniously proportioned, more slender than massive.
