Signed lower right: Jan Wiegers. The sheet is loose. Margins minimally browned. On the reverse, two remnants of paper adhesive strips—Lit.: Th.-B. XXXV, p. 530; Vollmer, vol. 5, p. 128. Dutch painter, graphic artist, and sculptor. The artist was friends with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, who had a decisive stylistic influence on him.
