Slight edge damage. - Lit.: Horst Janssen. Gottorf Castle, Foundation and Collection. Schleswig 1989. Janssen studied under Prof. Mahlau at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg from 1946 to 1951. He received several awards for his graphic work, including the City of Darmstadt Art Prize in 1964. His works have been exhibited internationally, and in November 2000, the Horst Janssen Museum opened in Oldenburg.
