Large antique garnet pendant in the form of a medallion and a garnet brooch Bohemia, circa 1870. Tompak, gold-plated. Richly set with numerous garnets. Total weight: 31.1 g. Dimensions of the medallion pendant: 7 × 4.5 cm. Removable pendant loop; can also be worn as a brooch. Brooch diameter: 3.5 cm. In good condition. A decorative jewelry ensemble in the Bohemian Historicist style. The large-format medallion pendant and the separate brooch are set with numerous garnets, whose deep red color underscores the characteristic appeal of 19th-century Bohemian garnet jewelry.
