Jadeite Pin Brooch China, probably late Qing Dynasty. 750/- yellow gold, hallmarked “18.” Weight: 6.84 g. Length: 4.8 cm. Set with a jadeite cylinder and a jadeite teardrop suspended freely on a chain. Jadeite teardrop length: approx. 1.5 cm. In good condition. The combination of the finely crafted jadeite cylinder and the freely suspended jadeite drop gives the brooch an elegant and lively appearance. A decorative piece of jewelry with a refined Chinese character and an appealing charm.
