Diamond Ring 1940s/1950s. 585/- white gold, hallmarked. Total weight: 8.4 g. Set with 6 old-cut or transitional-cut diamonds totaling approx. 1 ct. The diamonds are set in a compact, rectangular arrangement, flanked by ring shoulders with a sculpted, ribbed design. Ring size 52. Signs of age and wear. A striking white gold ring with the characteristic sculpted design of the 1940s/1950s. The six closely set diamonds form a closed, slightly domed front, while the boldly ribbed ring shoulders give the ring a distinctly sculptural appearance. The older diamond cuts create a lively, softer play of light.
