Emerald and Diamond Loop Brooch Art Nouveau, 19th century. 585/- yellow gold and platinum, unhallmarked. Weight: 6.1 g. Crafted in the shape of a bow, set with approximately 16 emeralds and numerous rose-cut diamonds. A faceted emerald pendant weighing approximately 2 ct hangs freely from the brooch, with a small diamond above it. Dimensions: 3 x 3.2 cm. Pin with safety clasp. Very good condition. The delicate bow shape, with its freely suspended emerald pendant and setting of diamond roses, reflects the jewelry fashion of the late 19th century.
