Ruby-Diamond "Toi et Moi" Ring Circa 1900. 585/- rose gold, hallmarked. Total weight: 3 g. 1 ruby, approx. 0.5 ct. 1 old-cut diamond, approx. 0.3 ct. Ring size 52. Very good condition. The so-called “Toi et Moi” ring (“You and Me”) is one of the classic jewelry designs of the late 19th century. Two gemstones set opposite each other symbolize the bond between two people. In this ring, the intensely colored ruby creates a charming contrast to the diamond with its characteristic old-cut. The simple rose gold setting underscores the historical character of this piece of jewelry, which was created around 1900.
