Wide gold bangle with antique gold coins Bangle: 585 yellow gold, hallmarked fine gold. Total weight: 122.3 g. Inner dimensions: 5.2 x 6.2 cm. Width: 3.2 cm. Slip clasp with safety bar. Very good condition. A magnificent, exceptionally heavy coin bangle featuring six historic gold coins. The individual coins are integrated into the wide, highly polished band, and their varied portraits and historic coin designs create a charming contrast to the clean lines of the piece. Among them are an American 10-dollar gold coin “Liberty Head/Eagle” from 1881 featuring the portrait of Liberty, a German 20-mark gold coin from 1908 depicting Emperor Wilhelm II, and Swiss gold coins bearing the image of Helvetia. A British sovereign from 1893, in gold, depicting St. George battling the dragon.
