Art Deco "Slava" Tank Wristwatch 1930s/1940s. Rolled gold plating, 20 microns, hallmarked. Total weight: 22.7 g. Case back hallmarked “RW” with an anchor. Case dimensions: 3.5 x 2.2 cm. Strap length: 17–20 cm. Heavy signs of wear. Mechanical hand-wound movement. Rectangular, gold-colored dial with a textured surface, Arabic hour numerals, blued hands, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Rectangular case with geometrically engraved edges and a hinged case back. Brown leather strap. This wristwatch, in the distinctive Tank style, embodies the geometrically clean design language of Art Deco. The oblong case, with its stepped, engraved edges, and the finely textured dial give the watch an elegant, architecturally inspired design. The hinged case back offers a direct view of the mechanical movement.
