Antique silver bangle with jadeite China, probably late Qing Dynasty. 835/- silver, hallmarked. Gold-plated. Hallmarked: “SILVER 835” and “CHINA.” Inner diameter: approx. 4.9 × 5.6 cm, width approx. 1.2–2.9 cm, weight approx. 23.9 g. 3 oval jadeite stones measuring approx. 2.2 × 1.3 cm, 2.3 × 1.4 cm, and 2.6 × 1.4 cm. Jadeite carvings featuring bird motifs. In good condition. Signs of age. Finely crafted silver bangle with high-quality gold plating and three decorative jadeite inlays. The jadeites are distinguished by their beautiful translucency and delicate green hue. The finely executed bird motifs highlight the high quality of the carvings, while the carefully crafted silver setting rounds out the harmonious overall appearance. An attractive piece of jewelry in the Chinese artistic tradition and of particular appeal to connoisseurs of fine jade works.
