Decor by Otto Eduard Gottfried Voigt (1870 Dresden – 1949 Meissen), who, as a “self-designing artist,” is considered one of the most prolific and creative sharp-fire painters at the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory around 1900. Worked at the KPM in Berlin from 1890 to 1895 and at the Meissen Manufactory from 1896 to 1932, where Voigt served as head of the high-fire painting department beginning in 1926. -Condition: Minimal production-related firing spots; extremely minimal gold wear along the upper edge.
