Table lamp, France, ca. 1930–1940. Blown and enameled glass. In working condition. With original wiring. Measurements: 42 x 30 x 30 cm. A sculptural table lamp featuring a globular shade made of transparent blown glass, embellished on the inside with decorative details in shades of blue, gold, and yellow. The spherical form, with its light and delicate appearance, is a hallmark of contrast with the chrome-plated metal structure and the circular dark wood base; this combination of materials brings balance to the piece as a whole. The piece is part of the evolution of European lighting design in the 1930s and 1940s, a period in which experimentation with glass, metallic finishes, and geometric shapes led to the creation of objects that combined functionality with ornamental value. In working order. With original wiring.
