Signed, titled, and dated by the photographer in pencil, with the photographer’s copyright stamp on the reverse. Active for over five decades in the field of photography as a freelance photojournalist, documentary filmmaker, and cameraman, Norbert Bunge was also a tireless advocate for the work of overlooked and historically significant photographers. Through his Berlin gallery, he curated numerous exhibitions, with a particular focus on socially engaged photography and the visual culture of East Germany. His own photographs were published in magazines such as *Spiegel*, *Quick*, and *Merian*. – Corners slightly bumped, a few light handling dents in the lower area, a few light spots in the upper margin; otherwise in good condition.
