PABLO PICASSO (1881–1973) & ATELIER MADOURA “Owl with Feathers,” a model created in [1951] Thrown vase. Authentic replica of the limited edition of three hundred pieces produced by Madoura. White earthenware piece—the design is executed in oxides, engraved with a knife on white, brown, and black glaze. Bears the stamp “D’après PICASSO” inside the bird of prey’s tail. Height: 28.5 cm A glaze jump around the perimeter of the tail. Bibliography: Alain Ramié—Picasso, Catalog of Ceramic Works, 1947–1971—Éditions Madoura, 1988.
