This sheet is dated Paris, December 11, 2005, extending the album well beyond its core period of 1963–1992. Description: A vigorous portrait in brush and ink of an elderly man, shown from the waist up in a jacket and tie, his head tilted back, rendered in broad, gestural strokes of black wash on the bare paper—a spontaneous, Expressionist likeness (perhaps a portrait of the collector himself; to be confirmed). Signed and inscribed by hand.
