386 - Franquin: Spirou, an illustration in India ink and blue pencil published on the top of the cover of *Spirou* magazine No. 1705, dated December 17, 1970. This illustration was created to promote the episode “The Harbor of Lost Ships” from the series *Simon the Dancer of Sirius*. It is a detailed and precise drawing depicting Spirou at the bow with a bugler announcing the week’s episode. Included is the tracing sheet with color added in colored pencils. (Crease to the right of “SPIR” and slight traces of adhesive tape.) Dimensions of the drawing (including the “SPIR” title): 20 x 11. Dimensions of the paper: 25.5 x 15.6.
