295 - Derib: Attila, illustration in watercolor, gouache, and markers on cardboard, enhanced with a tracing in India ink (airplane and scenery) and enhanced with three printed films (Attila and text) for the cover of Spirou magazine No. 1574, dated June 13, 1978. This composition, titled “Attila Returns in a Dive,” was created for the episode “Attila at the Castle.” It is a dynamic drawing in which Attila, the spy dog, at the controls of a Pilatus PC-6 Porter, is struck by lightning and hurtles toward Arvange Castle. The tracing is signed. (Yellow tape along the entire outline and tape on the paper.) Drawing dimensions: 20.5 x 21.5. Paper dimensions: 25.5 x 31.3.
