286 - Derib: Buddy Longway, an illustration in India ink and watercolor for the dust jacket of the second volume of the boxed set containing the complete series, published by Éditions du Lombard in 1996. We see the hero in the midst of a bare-handed fight with the Native American Tête-de-Loup. Derib drew inspiration from a sequence described in panel No. 42 of the album *L'Eau de feu* for the cover of this complete collection. In this story, the author recounts the ravages of alcohol on the Blackfoot tribe, who trade stolen furs with the Palefaces in exchange for firewater. Signed. Dimensions: 27 x 28.
