Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita (1886–1968) Small Trades & Small Earnings Paris: Pierre de Tartas, Éditions Rombaldi, 1960 Folio (37.5 x 28.5 cm), in folios with an illustrated beige cover, in the publisher’s blue cloth slipcase. Texts by Albert Fournier, with a preface by Maurice Genevoix and followed by a study by Guy Dornand titled “Foujita, a Parisian from Tokyo.” One of 40 copies on pearlescent Japanese paper (no. 25), signed in pencil by the artist It contains a portrait of Foujita as a frontispiece, 20 engravings, including 2 double-page spreads on Arches vellum, a series of black-and-white engravings, 22 decomposition proofs, 2 framed color prints on silk, and the matrix of one of the woodblocks, all housed in the publisher’s case.
