FERRARI, An extremely rare original black-and-white factory photo postcard from 1947 featuring a historic photograph of the legendary Ferrari 125 S, the first car built under the Ferrari name. The photograph shows the Ferrari 125 S in a striking oblique side view from the front and documents one of the earliest vehicles in the history of the world-famous Italian sports car brand. Introduced in 1947, the Ferrari 125 S was equipped with a 1.5-liter V12 engine and marked the beginning of Enzo Ferrari’s independent automobile production. The photo postcard bears the inscription “Modena Ferrari Italia Automobili” in the upper left corner, along with the famous Cavallino Rampante, the prancing horse that serves as Ferrari’s emblem. To the best of our knowledge, only a single copy of this exceptionally rare factory photo postcard has been sold at auction to date. It is now in the hands of a dedicated collector and is thus no longer available on the open market. This makes the opportunity to acquire another copy of this early Ferrari document all the more extraordinary. Dimensions: 9.2 × 14.2 cm. A museum-quality rarity from the very beginnings of Ferrari and a historic collector’s item of exceptional rarity!
