This painting was created by Sabine Frank (born 1956) from Nuremberg. Two ripe zucchini with a yellow blossom are depicted on a piece of 18th-century paper written in brown pen and ink. BIOGRAPHY: Born in Nuremberg in 1956. 1978–84: Studied painting, art history, and theater studies at the University of Munich. 1984–87: Goldsmith apprenticeship with Peter Maciuga. 1987: Received her diploma. Lived and worked from 1988 to 1990 in Gargnano, Italy and Munich; from 1992 to 1993 in San Rocco a Pilli / Siena and Munich; from 1994 to 1999 in Cassagnes and Labastide du Vert / France; and since 1999 in Villa/Gargnano, Italy, and Munich. Since 2001, production and installation of projects in the premises of a former grocery store in Villa/Gargnano. Co-founder of the artist group La Tenda Rossa.
