Fußmann, Klaus Poppy Gouache and pigments on watercolor paper. 2014. 21 x 30.5 cm. Signed “Fußmann” in red with a brush and dated in the lower right corner. This distinctive floral watercolor by Klaus Fußmann captivates with its abstract vitality and composition of strong color contrasts. In a striking close-up view, red and blue poppies merge into a lush sea of blossoms, whose luminosity is enhanced by the intensely green flower stems. The artistic focus here lies entirely on the dynamic interplay of the vibrant colors.
