As seen: Height: 48 cm - Width: 61 cm Note: A master glassmaker, Maurice Buffet devoted fifteen years to the art of stained glass in Chartres, Orléans, Tours, and Paris. He studied stained-glass techniques at the Lorin workshops and later at the workshops of Francis Gruber’s father, a French Expressionist painter. He then turned to painting, joining numerous groups such as *Les trois dimensions* and *La poésie du réel*, and exhibited in 1946 at the Galerie Carmine in Paris.
