2319 - INGO MAURER. Pair of "Lucellino" table lamps. Designed in 1992. Manufactured by Ingo Maurer GmbH, Munich, Germany. Brass, plastic, flexible wire, handcrafted wings made of goose feathers. Height of each: approx. 30–35 cm (variably adjustable). Engraved “Ingo Maurer” signature on the underside of the metal base, as well as original manufacturer’s adhesive labels with the designation “Lucellino / 24 Volt / 35 Watt / MADE IN GERMANY” and technical specifications from Ingo Maurer GmbH (Kaiserstr. 47, Munich). A delicate pair of the iconic “Lucellino” table lamps (a play on words from the Italian “luce” = light and “uccellino” = little bird). A red-coated, freely bendable wire frame mounted on a round, white-coated base, featuring fine brass socket details. Each lamp is fitted with a special light source featuring handcrafted wings made of genuine white goose feathers. Good to very good original condition with slight signs of age and wear. Fully marked. Electronics not tested.
