LOHÉ, YVES (1947) "The Dancer with the Violin" Bronze, patinated and partially polished, combined with solid art glass, partially frosted, dyed in shades of green and amber. Mounted on a rectangular plinth. A dynamically designed composition featuring a graceful bronze dancer in expressive motion, elegantly nestled against the body of a stylized violin. The body of the instrument and its slender neck are crafted from solid, richly layered glass, which creates a captivating play of colors when held up to the light. Stamped “Lohe” on the bronze plinth. Signed “Lohe” on the back of the glass body. H: 45 cm. Very good condition, consistent with its age. The bronze shows minimal, authentic wear along the edges. The glass element has no visible chips or cracks, but contains air bubbles inherent to the manufacturing process.
