A new edition, expanded and enriched with numerous discoveries. The author provides a detailed description of the processes, raw materials, brewing traditions, and Belgian, French, and German beers… The second volume is devoted to distillation and includes an expanded section on the art of vinegar-making. The set is accompanied by 23 fold-out plates engraved by Vandendaelen. Bindings are slightly faded.
