Illustrated edition featuring 30 etchings by Lobel-Riche, all with captioned borders, along with typographic ornaments designed and wood-engraved by Louis JOU (6 wood engravings comprise the 40 headpieces). Limited edition of 352 copies; this one is numbered on Arches vellum, bears Lobel-Riche’s signature on the margin, and contains TWO VERSIONS OF THE ETCHINGS, one of which includes notes (Sheet, no. 40) (Monod, 1165).
