[BANCO DI ROMA]. ALBUM OF ACKNOWLEDGMENTS TO MARIO GUARALDI, DIRECTOR OF THE BANCO DI ROMA, for his 40-year career. Florence, August 1930. Oblong folio album, bound in embossed and gilded leather with two sheets mounted on vellum; the first is entirely painted and illuminated, while the second bears 68 original signatures from colleagues and contributors. Following this, mounted on heavy paper, are 20 large and beautiful photographs of views of the city of Florence. The cord that bound the sheets together is missing.
