In-18, 76-257-108-40 pages, half marbled calfskin, smooth spine with decoration, blue edges (contemporary binding). “One of the best-known and most beautiful almanacs of the Revolution” (Grand-Carteret). It is illustrated with 6 engravings by Moreau (The Genius of Liberty, The Storming of the Bastille, The Tennis Court Oath…), all ahead of their time. Followed by: The French Constitution Enacted by the National Assembly (108 pp.) and Political Reflections (40 pp.). Paper missing from the back cover; otherwise a fine copy.
