A rare original panoramic double celluloid sheet, painted in ink and gouache, stapled to an original gouache background depicting one of the ships from this excellent early work by Miyazaki. In addition to serving as director and storyboard artist on this series, he was also the mecha designer, which is what makes this lot so interesting. Produced by Nippon Animation in 1978.
