F DE ROCHE IN GENEVA Brass pocket watch, white enamel dial, black minute track, hour markers in black-painted Arabic numerals, blued Breguet hands with hollowed-out tips. Bezel set with white gemstones. Case back decorated with an enamel miniature depicting an interior and its furnishings. Mechanical movement with manual winding via key, openworked balance cock with two screws, fusée-and-chain system, rosette for adjusting the rate, verge escapement, marked “F. DE ROCHE À GENÈVE.” The watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case and glass, missing white stones, scratches on the decoration; the entire inner section (dial and movement) needs to be reattached to the hinge. Late 18th century Diameter 54 mm
