RENÉ WELLER - Signed "Hoyer" guitar from René Weller's private collection, model number "HD30-N," serial number "97060041," signed by him on the back and on the right side of the guitar. Shows signs of age and wear. FROM THE PRIVATE COLLECTION OF MARIA WELLER. *In addition to his passion for boxing, René Weller also had a musical side. The guitar was a constant companion throughout all stages of his life. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar for friends, family, and his partner, but also sometimes just for himself in quiet moments. Many of his fans know that René Weller released his own boxing rap in 1984—at a time when rap and hip-hop were still in their infancy in Germany. Here, too, he was open to new things and tried his hand not only at boxing but also at painting and music.
