Tom DIXON (born in 1959). A triptych of pendant lamps—the "Beat Wide," "Beat Tall," and "Beat Fat" models—made of black-lacquered brass with a gold interior (shows signs of use, small scratches). And a “BSA01EU” table lamp in cast iron with a brushed gold brass shade, marked “TOM DIXON LONDON” on the back, with its original tags (scratches and wear on the shade; lights up; worn cord). Height: 38 cm Tom DIXON was a sculptor before becoming a designer. Born in Tunisia in 1959, he studied in England, where he created sculptures from found materials, particularly metal works. Artistic director at HABITAT for many years, he also founded his own design studio. He gained international recognition with the creation of the “S-Chair.” The triptych we are offering here combines the raw, unpolished style of his early work—with its hammered brass—with the timeless sophistication of matte black, adding elegance and aesthetic appeal to your home.
