The remarkable ALPA Surgical 81 represents one of the most unusual developments in the history of Swiss precision camera manufacturing. Designed for specialized medical applications, it features a distinctive viewfinder-less design, a simplified shutter mechanism with a fixed exposure time of 1/60 second, and special flash synchronization connections. Includes the rare Schneider-Kreuznach PA-Curtagon 4/35 mm, no. 13635166, with an ALPA cap. According to production records, only 192 examples of the PA-Curtagon were manufactured with an ALPA mount.
